Great project, but you buried the lede:
Handle migration of new families from SIS (Powerschool) to RE, including homerooms, contact info, etc.
That part seems a little out of scope for how the project has been defined throughout the rest of the post and could (potentially) be a separate project in and of itself.

Webview never had the ability. I'm honestly not sure if that is something that will move to webview, but I do hope so!
I'll start rallying the support behind the idea in the Idea Bank.
Please note that the idea bank looks exactly like you're in the community until you want to vote or comment on something. It requires an entirely different username and password, which can be clunky.
Re: Soft Credit not applied when donation came in through NXT donation form
- Did you identify this issue AFTER you had committed/approved the batch? It won't show up on the spouse's record until after the batch has been approved. If you have not yet approved the batch, go ahead and approve it and then let us know if it shows on the spouse's record.
- If you already approved the batch and it is not showing I would check to see if BOTH spouses have the Automatically Soft Credit box checked. Sometimes only one does and that can create confusion and inaccuracies, for sure!
- If both spouses had the box checked at the time the batch was approved and the gift is not appearing on the spouse's record I recommend contacting support.

I sat in on a webinar that said that the database view would sunset Q1 2027. Now the most important feature will be gone an entire year before that??? It was only introduced recently to webview. I don't think Blackbaud is prepared for the vitriol this will create within its user community.

The Google team gave the 9/1 date a few weeks ago. It is not inconceivable they didn't account for the holiday. I'll ask and let you know what I hear.

@Suzie Capps , great suggestion from @Shaun Germany . Typically, folks find there is data they can get from Query that they can't get from the connector.
Additional thoughts:
- For the Power Automate route, even Power Automate has a limit on the size of .csv file that can be created from the Query results, so it can be necessary to break the data pull into smaller record sets and then combine all like-shaped files in a SharePoint folder connection from Power BI. Maybe 3 years of records is not large enough to be a problem.
- For the custom connector: You can pull in a private or public gift LIST instead of all Gifts. Create a list in the Raiser's Edge that is filtered for the past three years and choose the list in your connector instead of all gifts. This will filter before the data gets to Power BI, which is the caution Alex mentioned.

Soft Credit Missing When Adding Gifts Through API
When using the API to enter a gift in RE/NXT, I noticed that even if the option "Automatically soft credit this individual for gifts" is checked, the soft credit is not always applied to the gift.
Has anyone else experienced this issue?
