What's New In DonorCentral - 8/29/18 Release

Published

Take a look at what's new in our latest release of DonorCentral!

Third-party single sign-on

To enable customers to use a third-party workflow with DonorCentral and single sign-on (SSO), a new field in FIMS — Third_Party_process_Id_Field— is available so that SSO or third-party ID information for advisors can be identified when advisor records are exported to DonorCentral. This field value is used by DonorCentral to authenticate advisors that use SSO through a third-party site.

Honorary and Memorial gift amounts now hidden

To enable givers to have the value of their Honorary and Memorial gifts suppressed when viewed individually, the monetary amounts for Honorary and Memorial gifts are no longer displayed in the grids on the Fund details tab of the Funds page. These monetary amounts are, however, still included in the amount totals that display on the page.

On the Fund details tab, the amount totals shown for Gifts, Non-gifts, Pledges paid, and Pending gifts include any Honorary and Memorial gift amounts. When you select one of these totals to display the individual details in the grid, the amounts for any Honorary and Memorial gifts are now shown as Anonymous.

Note: FIMS version 14.62 patch is required to use this feature. Host*Net clients will be upgraded to 14.62 on August 25th, 2018 during scheduled maintenance downtime. On Premise clients on version 14.60 or 14.61 can update to 14.62 by downloading the installation package from Blackbaud Downloads.
