Service alert [14 Jan 16]: Reports of slow response from Online Applications (IGAM)

Published
[15 Jan  11:40am ET] This morning our monitors alerted on performance again so we executed on our escalation plan by adding more server resources. The system has returned to normal levels and has remained there for the last 45 minutes. Although we don't believe this performance issue is directly related to capacity, the change serves to alleviate the symptom. Earlier this week we communicated a maintenance window for this weekend so that we can apply a Microsoft update to our SQL Servers and we believe that will be the final resolution. We will continue to monitor and update throughout the day as needed.

[4:22pm ET] At 2pm, we restored the SQL Servers to a snapshot that was taken last week. Response times have returned to normal. We have updated our real-time monitoring so that it provides alerts at a lower threshold and we can respond. Our technical teams are continuing to stand by in case any further response is needed.

[1:22pm ET] We have received several reports of slow access to the service and we are currently investigating the root cause. Will provide further updates as soon as possible.
