We have been previewing demos and giving feedback to AcademicWorks for the past four years or so as their product has grown more sophisticated and robust. About two weeks ago we decided to begin our implimentation of AcademicWorks, so the news that they are being brought into Blackbaud's portfolio was very exciting.  Hoping to see good things come from this!

I have this crazy idea that Blackbaud stops buying its competitors and actually engineer good software.
