Blackbaud Employees Celebrated MLK Day Through Acts Of Service

Published
Hi Blackbaud Community!

This past Monday, was Martin Luther King Jr. Day, also known as a National Day of Service. It's a day that is annually celebrated on the third Monday of January and focuses on giving back to our communities by displaying acts of kindness and service to everyone.

“Everybody can be great because everybody can serve.”

-Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

In honor of MLK Day, we encouraged our employees to volunteer in their communities with a “day on, not a day off.” In the US, Blackbaud employees were given the day off in observance of MLK Day and many of our employees spent their day "on", not "off" by demonstrating acts of service and kindness in their communities. At Blackbaud, we’re 100% focused on the social good community all year through our work, and we recognize that there is something very powerful and special that happens when we can all break away from our day-to-day routines to serve others. We are proud to join Americans across the nation in the powerful act of volunteerism to honor Dr. King’s legacy.
