Blackbaud Employees Honor Black Leaders In History

Published
Hi Blackbaud Community,

February marks the acknowledgement and celebration of Black History Month in the US and Canada—a month dedicated to recognizing the important contributions that African Americans and Black Canadians have made to help shape our countries.

In many instances, Black History Month can mean different things to everyone and at Blackbaud, we are excited to celebrate this observance as a global company. Doing so gives us the chance to deepen our commitment to learning from and engaging with each other and that reminds us that it’s never too late to stop learning and growing.

In the spirit of education and engagement and to kick off our celebration of Black History Month, members of Blackbaud’s BLEND employee resource group (Black Employees Encouraging Diversity) produced a few short videos about influential black leaders who helped ensure Black history’s long overdue and rightful inclusion in US and Canadian history.
