Blackbaud Celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month

Published

All month Blackbaud employees will engage in fun and educational activities to observe National Hispanic Heritage Month. Read all about it now!

Hi Blackbaud Community!

September 15 through October 15 is National Hispanic Heritage Month, which shines a spotlight on a vast array of Latin cultures and celebrates the unique differences in each—uplifting the rich history, heritage, and valuable contributions of members of the Hispanic and Latin-American community in the US—many of whom trace their ancestry back to Mexico, Spain, the Caribbean, and South and Central America.

Blackbaud is excited to celebrate this observance in collaboration with its HOLA (Hispanic Organization for Learning and Advancement) employee affinity group, inviting employees to engage in several exciting activities including a webinar about Hispanic and Latin music history, visiting a museum, cultural center, or art expo that supports Hispanic and Latin-American culture, participating in a virtual volunteer opportunity to make quiz cards on Hispanic countries for children, and more.

We have an exciting month of celebrating ahead of us! Are you or your organization celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month? If so, tell us how in the comments!

Happy National Hispanic Heritage Month! Unidos for a Better World.
