We loved connecting with so many of you at bbcon 2024! We had so many exciting announcements and innovations to share. Whether you joined us in person, tuned in remotely, or are getting ready to catch up on demand, here’s a quick rundown of everything we unveiled during our tech keynote.



Wave One: The Future of Fundraising Software
We’re supercharging Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT®, the world’s most popular fundraising software! By mid-2025, all critical workflows will be in a single, unified view, and the most popular functions will be available in web view. Expect a new left navigation, enhanced donor recognition program management, and new events functionality. Plus, pledge management and stronger gift management workflows are coming soon. We’re also collaborating with Microsoft to bring personalized productivity dashboards to Raiser’s Edge NXT and Blackbaud CRM™.

Wave Two: Expanding Blackbaud’s Intelligence for Good® Approach
Say hello to Blackbaud Copilot, your AI-powered coach and assistant! Copilot will help you interact with your data in natural language, ask questions, and gain insights. We’re also rolling out new performance insights, an Award Cycle Manager for scholarship administrators, and an “At-Risk” Student Tool for K-12 education. And that’s not all – AI-powered features are coming to Blackbaud Merchant Services, Raiser’s Edge NXT, and more.

Wave Three: Accelerated Giving and Enhanced Online Experiences
We’re making it easier than ever to give and engage online. Our Optimized and Standard Donation Forms are proven to increase conversion rates, and tap-to-pay capabilities will let supporters donate with a simple tap. We’re also extending our Complete Cover™ offering to new partners and updating Blackbaud Tuition Management™ with an enhanced checkout experience.

Wave Four: Next-Level Digital Marketing
We’re partnering with Constant Contact to deliver a new, unified digital marketing solution will connect you with your donors at every touchpoint. Plus, our Good Move™ app for Blackbaud TeamRaiser® now supports multiple languages, including Canadian French and Spanish

Wave Five: Connected Financial Management
By Q1 2025, all core Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT® capabilities will be available in a unified view. We’re also introducing automated invoice scanning, a new Payment Assistant, and deeper integration between Raiser’s Edge NXT and Financial Edge NXT. And with Blackbaud Copilot, generating reports will be a breeze.

Wave Six: Extensibility and Flexibility
We’re expanding our integrations and adding new low-code tools to give you more flexibility. Look out for new Microsoft Power Platform-certified connectors, SKY Add-ins™ for Blackbaud Grantmaking™, and more. Plus, we’re the only company focused on social impact to receive the Trusted Cloud Provider designation from the Cloud Security Alliance.

Bummer to only see one mention of Altru! The new online giving forms are not even close to keeping pace with any other CRM or API, and I'm not sure a single user of any Blackbaud solution has asked that a major priority be Microsoft AI integration.
