Tell us about your family (fur babies count!) "My 'chosen family' is the global nonprofit community. Home family is a black cat named Binx." Where do you live? "St. Paul, Minnesota." What do you like to do for fun? "Movies! Theater, DVD/Bluray, Netflix." What’s a life achievement you are particularly proud of? "Developing technology for a truly immersive visitor experience in the China/Panda exhibit at the Memphis Zoo." |

What’s one memory that always makes you smile? "Working on the TV crew when Oprah Winfrey was given the National Civil Rights Museums's 2005 National Freedom Award." |

Tell us about your organization: "At the Minnesota Children's Museum 'Sparking Children's Learning Through Play' is our mission statement (one of the best I've ever seen). We take play very seriously, even for the staff. Next month we open an entirely new museum and it's going to be amazing!!" What’s a typical day like for you? "Data, data, and more data. Running existing reports, creating new reports, guiding staff on how data and technology can make them more productive. What’s the best part of your job? "The amazing atmosphere and incredible staff." |

What advice would you give someone starting out in the non-profit field? "Find an organization whose mission you love and with a dedicated staff." What do you love about the Blackbaud Community? "People helping people. We learn so much from each other." |

If you could have a theme song, what would it be? "'Pure Imagination' from Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. I try to never limit myself to what is known to be possible, but always look at what might be possible if we try hard enough." |
