The Road To Blackbaud University Day: Welcome To Baltimore!

In case the good news hasn’t yet reached you, let me be the first to tell you—our beloved bbcon 2017 is taking its talents to Baltimore, MD the week of Oct. 16! It’s your chance to hobnob with your peers, accelerate your Blackbaud product expertise, get insight into nonprofit best practices, and soak in the beauty and culture of this historic city. 
As a Washington, DC resident, I visit nearby Baltimore regularly for all kinds of fun. While in Baltimore, I’d suggest checking out some of the wonderful historical and cultural sights like Fort McHenry (the fort depicted in “The Star-Spangled Banner”), the National Aquarium at the Inner Harbor (just a few blocks from the Baltimore Convention Center), and (if you’re a Monopoly fan) the B&O Railroad Museum.
If you’re a football fan like me, and can make it to town a few days early, I hear the Baltimore Ravens are hosting the Chicago Bears at M&T Bank Stadium on October 15th. And baseball fans, cross your fingers that the Orioles make it to the playoffs again this year—you might have the opportunity to watch a game at historic Camden Yards!
If you haven’t yet signed up for University Day at bbcon 2017, get a move on! This preconference day on Oct. 16 is your chance to experience our live in-person Blackbaud product trainings for the amazing price of just $325 (a $600 value)! University Day will be filled with Learn Lab sessions and Nonprofit Workshops which you can find listed on the bbcon 2017 website along with session descriptions. Don’t worry if your preferred session shows a waitlist, we’ll continue to open additional sessions for those in-demand topics.
