Each year Blackbaud awards bbcon scholarships to industry professionals who exude a passion for learning and want to propel their organizations’ missions forward. bbcon opens the door for professional growth through hands-on training, networking opportunities, interactive demos, relationship building, and so much more! Scholarships aren’t just for regular attendees–if you are a potential speaker looking to reduce costs, please apply.
What does a bbcon scholarship include?
Scholarship winners for bbcon 2019 receive a complimentary registration to bbcon 2019, inclusive of supporting events, meals (breakfast and lunch), evening events, and conference materials. In addition, Blackbaud will cover the costs for the top three scholarship winners’ hotel expenses for three nights. Speaker scholarship winners will have their speaker fee waived.
How do I apply for a bbcon scholarship?
Applying for a bbcon scholarship requires the following:
Can I apply if I already registered?
Yes, but please reach out to us directly at conference@blackbaud.com to learn how you can apply. If you haven’t, do not register for bbcon 2019 prior to the selection of winners. If you are selected as a scholarship winner, you will be provided with a discount code to receive free registration. If you are planning to attend either way and are not selected for scholarship, we will honor the conference pass price at the time of your submission.
When is the submission deadline?
Your complete application must be received no later than Friday, June 28, at 11:59 p.m. EST.
When will winners be announced?
Winners will be chosen by the bbcon Scholarship Committee and will be contacted no later than 5:00 p.m. ET on July 19, 2019.

- One 2-4 minute video submission. Videos must be submitted as a URL through our online submission form.
