Almabase Integration

Question

We are in the process of integrating Almabase for alumni directory and event registration, crowdfunding. I wanted to know if any of you have experience that and what are the glitches that was faced in the process. Were they resolved and what was the response time of resolving issues.

Hi Payal,

We have done this and currently use Almabase for our alumni directory, to send many of our emails, for event registration, and for giving pages. Some of the syncs work well and some haven't, mostly because we customize many things. We have found that Almabase has been very responsive to support needs and has made some requested changes to the way their software works to accommodate our needs.

One big pitfall that we fell into and I am still trying to climb out of is that duplicate profiles got created very easily and quickly. They have worked with us to mitigate that and the problem is not nearly as pervasive, but still an issue.
