Contract or consultant help with gift processing

Has anyone used a freelancer or consultant for Raiser's Edge gift processing assistance and training? My advancement team (higher ed) is operating without a trained gift processor (or an FTE in Advancement Services), so we need help catching up as well as training and process review.

I would be grateful for any suggestions.
