Volunteer Solicitors in NXT

Hi All,

We are in a capital campaign and have some volunteer committee/board solicitors. Right now, we add them as a solicitor in RE7 database view. When we tested adding them as a fundraiser in NXT/webview, we noticed that you cannot add someone as a solicitor without setting them up as a user. We do not want these volunteers to have access to the database or their own workcenter. What is your organization doing? Do you have a workaround?

Right now our workaround is to add these individuals as fundraisers/solicitors in database view. Unfortunately I haven't seen anything myself as to whether or not this functionality will be added to web view. I certainly hope so! However, this is one of those small but crucial features that I'm afraid will fall through the cracks once database view is eliminated.

Here's an idea in the Idea Bank to vote for: "Constituents other than account users need to be able to be marked as fundraisers in NXT" (Sorry, I can't seem to get the link, but you should be able to search by the title)
