Adding Query Results to Homepage (like in Database)

In database view, on my home dashboard we currently have the ability to pin query results. It would be useful to have that in NXT - currently i can only have the link to my query. But I need access to the results as a form of tracking daily activity.

Actually the home page is Database View should be exactly how it should be in RE NXT. I do not like the Homepage in RE NXT.

I agree with Kelly - this is a great idea. Having a dashboard of panels has been super useful for me to keep an eye on colleagues accidentally adding cash gifts instead of pledges once in a while and a few other things where we can't force RE to make them mandatory.

Then I have a second dashboard of panels to assist with administering our Celebrate program.

I agree that is a great feature in database view. There is something close to it in webview, and hopefully it will continue to get better.

If you click the "customize page" button under "Home", you can select Tiles and Quick links. One of the Tiles is "Favorite Queries". It is still clunky - you need to favorite a Query first, and then on the Tile you pick a Query Category and it will show whatever queries in that category are marked as favorites. What I don't love about it is the space utilization on the tile but you can expand and collapse the category name.

Quick links is the other area. If you open a query in webview, you can select "copy link" at the bottom and choose either the query itself or the results. Select the one you want, and then return to the home page to add the quick link. This will appear on the right side of your page under "Quick links".

It is worth playing around with some of these options to see what you can find. I always liked customizing my home page with my own folders that have shortcuts to various items - queries, exports, imports, global changes, etc - because I could put all of those disparate items into a single group. I'm hopeful that this will evolve over time in webview and get better!
