Why are Returned Addresses from AddressFinder Marked as Do Not Mail? Here's Why.

Here is the logic behind why returned addresses from AddressFinder might be marked as Do Not Mail.

Here's a scenario for you.

Sam awoke this morning, a little groggy, but excited to use her freshly updated addresses from AddressFinder.  She energizes herself with a cup of coffee, does a few figure eights around the office to say good morning and then logs into The Raiser’s Edge.

She sees that some of her new addresses are marked as Do Not Mail!  Sam thinks, “Why Blackbaud, why?!”

After a moment, she quickly sniffs out an answer on Blackbaud’s Knowledgebase and discovers that the new addresses are marked as Do Not Mail because the old addresses they matched with were marked as Do Not Mail.

Sam understands the logic, but would still like the new address to not be marked as Do Not Mail.  She hopes that there is another Knowledgebase article to help her.  So, she digs back in and finds this!
