How much mileage can you get from Target Analytics data?  Keep reading, because it might be more than you realize!

Nothing makes us happier than hearing from clients who are enjoying success because they made a plan to use their Target Analytics data…and are working it!

Our clients tell us they are breathing new life into their portfolios, campaign planning, and examining their ROI using data.  We hear fun stories of new, excited supporters and well prepared gift officers pounding the pavement. 

Researchers are even able to leave the office for lunch every once in a while! But, have you ever thought about using your data to revisit your stewardship plan?  How about when you’re wrestling with increasing the donation associated with an annual giving society? 

Those are two of my favorite tips and tricks and I am passing along the ideas in hopes they’ll help you get even more mileage from your work with TA.
 
  • If you’re like me, you’d rather use a plan that motivates action and is a bit of a stretch.  So if it’s time to revisit your stewardship plan—or even put a plan in place for the first time—pull out your data!  Maybe your organization has modeling scores that point to a lot of potential with mid-level giving, and your current strategies don’t match the potential.  Its great perspective into how to build a stewardship program that’s visionary and can have a long shelf life.
     
  • It seems lots of offices are considering new membership levels for giving clubs.  Does your data provide insight that helps?  For example, if your research shows many members of your giving circles have more capacity—and you can match cultivation efforts accordingly—that’s something to think about.
