New Process for Renewing Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Certificates

Does Blackbaud host your Blackbaud NetCommunity (BBNC) or Sphere instance?  If so, please review the post below thoroughly, as an important process has recently changed.

Recently, Blackbaud’s SSL certificate provider, GeoTrust, changed the requirements for renewing certificates.  Blackbaud is still responsible for renewing your certificate.  Under the new process, GeoTrust must receive authorization from the customer contact we provide.

As SSL certificates come up for renewal, both GeoTrust and Blackbaud will reach out to you to help coordinate this approval.  Please keep an eye out for emails from GeoTrust referencing SSL certificate renewals, and take the requested action.  Take a look at BB748184 for more information on SSL certificates and the authorization process.
