Introduction Of The Blackbaud Giving Fund 

As you may know, just over four years ago Blackbaud acquired JustGiving®. In the past few years, we have carefully integrated the operations of our two companies. This combination has been a terrific opportunity for JustGiving and has allowed us to harness the expertise, resources and capabilities of Blackbaud, the world’s leading cloud software company powering social good.

One of our key integration initiatives is our transition away from our partnership with the JustGive Donor Advised Fund (DAF). We are planning a changeover to a partnership with The Blackbaud Giving Fund, a public charity and donor advised fund and a partner of Blackbaud. We expect that this change will put in place a more secure, sustainable, and scalable giving ecosystem, which will better support your giving programs. Additionally, this allows our registered charities using the DAF to receive weekly disbursements.

In the coming weeks, we will provide more information to impacted organizations about the new partnership and actions that may need to be taken. If you are processing donations via Blackbaud Merchant Services, no action is required. This does not impact charities in Canada.
