Think Outside the Box

The most memorable wedding invitation I ever received was not sent in the mail. Instead, my sister and her (now) husband created a wedding invitation video in the style of an awkward car dealership commercial. In the video, they went over the main details of the wedding and constantly repeated the address of the website where we could RSVP and look up more information. They then sent this video via email to everyone they were inviting to their wedding.

Your annual reports can be just as innovative and memorable as my sister's wedding invitation. Instead of sending out a paper report, consider non-traditional formats. You could present your annual report as an infographic, a video, or an interactive website. If not the whole report, you could send out one of these types of formats and then, as my sister did, direct the recipients to a place where they can get more information!
