Want Ninja Speed Updating Address Records in Raiser's Edge?

Here's my Ninja tip! When having to review and/or update a group of records in Raiser's Edge, use the Query module's output screen to group/organize the records and open/move through the group at Ninja speed.

Step 1: Create a Query: Create your group and organize the output screen as needed. Click Results/Run Now. Then double-click to open the first listed record.

Step 2: Click on Tools, then User Options:  Change the default tab to open the Addresses tab first and click OK/Apply. (you can do this step first... or you'll have to open the next record to see the change.) Don't forget to change the columns so you can see the right field on the first open screen.

Step 3: Update the address, then using the play buttons at the top menu, click the right arrow to move to the "next" record. RE will ask you to save your changes and then it will open the next record automatically.
