What's New (November 19)
Hello Church Community! Here are the latest new features.
Check-in
If your church does not use child check-in stations to track attendance for classes, you can print a sign-in sheet for parents or chaperones to sign when they drop off their children. Sign-in sheets include all children registered for the class. To print a sign-in sheet, from Events, Check-in, under Attendance, select Print sign-in sheet from the class's menu.
You can later transfer attendance information from sign-in sheets into Blackbaud Church Management for tracking and reporting.
Tip: If your church uses child check-in stations to track attendance, you can print sign-in sheets for chaperones to confirm their children were dropped off in the classroom.
For more information, see Check-in Attendance.
EventsTo help you reach out to event participants before an event, or to further your church’s relationship with them after it’s over, you can now filter a list of participants based on constituent information, such as small group participation or giving history. From an event record, select Work with participants under Participants. To save and adjust the participant list in Lists, Constituents, select Create constituent list. For more information, see Participants.
Donation forms
To define how a congregant who gives online is affiliated with your church, we recommend setting the constituent code for donation forms. The code applies to new and existing constituent records when congregants give their gifts through a donation form. For example, select online donor as the constituent code to identify your church's relationship with the congregant. The code displays under Constituent codes on their records. In Tools, Settings, select Update under Constituent code mapping. For more information, see Form Settings.
