Here's the latest in Blackbaud Church Management!

  • Create a constituent list from a group of classes
  • Improvements to portal and MobileMission configuration settings

Classes
You can now create lists of participants built from groups of classes to reuse in other areas. Choose which individuals to include in the list based on the type of class:
  • Participants — Creates a list of participants in the selected classes. For example, you can assign an action to all adults who completed membership classes.

  • Chaperones — Creates a list of all chaperones of children in the selected classes. For example, you can email all chaperones of children in K-5 classes.

  • Chaperones and participants — Creates a list of all chaperones and children in the selected classes. For example, you can invite all youth group teens and their parents to register for a weekend retreat.

For more information, see Create a constituent list from a group of classes.

Portal and MobileMission
The Congregant Experience page in Tools Settings became crowded and a little confusing after we added several new features to the portal and MobileMission. To help alleviate these issues and make it clearer which settings apply to the portal or MobileMission, these tabs replaced the Congregant Experience tab:

  • Portal settings — Set up and activate the portal, copy the portal URL, send invitations, configure custom branding, and set support contact information.

  • MobileMission settings — Configure giving options and confirmation emails, set the church description, allow push notifications, customize the sign-in experience, and set support contact information.

  • Feature configuration — Choose which features to make available in the portal and MobileMission, including mobile check-in, prayer requests, and small groups.
