Letter Template Library and merge field docs.

Hi.  I want to create an acknowledgment letter to school or group contacts that can populate the data from a group reservation. I do not understand how the group reservation data connects to merge fields created in a letter template.  

Staff members had already created template letters with merge fields and placed them into the Letter Template Library (I was not part of this process) I see videos that explain this process but I just dont know how (or if) the details from the reservation can populate into the letter.  Please advise.  Thank you kindly.

Are you referring to the NetCommunity email templates and merge fields or the Mail merges with Raiser's Edge database view?? if the latter in Raiser's Edge you might get a better response posting on Raiser's Edge blog at https://community.blackbaud.com/products/raisersedge7


If the former and using email messages in NetCommunity that data populates from a list or donor acknowledgment email populates data entered on a donation or event form.

This would not be in Raisers Edge but data from ALTRU Accelerate
group sales reservations.  i'm not quite sure how the
former applies.
