Looking at the current timeline, it does raise some concern since many items are marked as either “Planned for 2026,” “Undecided,” or “Never Moving.” As we are now approaching the last quarter of the year, clarity becomes even more important for planning purposes. If there is a past recording or briefing that specifically addresses this, I would greatly appreciate being pointed toward it. I do try to attend most of the update sessions, but it’s always more helpful when there is direct interaction and opportunity for clarification during the briefing itself.

Import/Export is a key function of our work. They have stated that export will be built into query instead of a standalone function like it is in DBV. They have shown this before in a previous town hall or PUB. Import is scheduled for Q4 2026.

We haven't received an answer for your second question. The third question is the most important, because it's the only one we can control. Planning for these changes is key, and there is a roadmap. Consider trying new functionality as soon as it available and blowing up the idea bank if things don't work. Things should not be 1:1 with database view, but you'll need to determine how your processes will change and how to alter them to fit the timetable. Most organizations won't be ready, but you can plan for the inevitable. Attending the PUBs and town halls are super important, keeping track of new changes.

When import launches later this year, we'll know what we're working with.

As Jeannie mentioned - both are in development. Here's a blog that explains how "Export" will work in Web View, it recently graduated EAP and I suspect it will be released before EOY.

Agreed. This is the function keeping me in the database view most often.

I also rely on import as we have payroll deductions from employees that I need to import every 2 weeks. It cannot be done manually as there are about 500 employees who donate!
