Hi there, I am looking to get the following field "Import ID" from the constituent data. Does anyone know how to get this field from RE endpoints?
thank you.
there is not an endpoint that will provide Constituent Import ID field that I'm aware of.
You can use Query API to get this.
hi Alex, thank you so much.
What do you mean query API? Do I need to create a query in webview to get this? If so, how do I call this from the endpoint? Also, is there any endpoint to get the constituents relationships? At this stage, I am trying to link the data from core system with RE constituent and the only way that I found out is to extract the last 6 digits from teh "host-id" from core which is most of them tied with the RE constituent system id in RE. However, I have a lot of data that the host id does not match with that criteria.
Based on your experience what would you recommend the best way to get a unique id that allow me to link the data together. Thank you for your help. Thank you!!
You can either save a query and execute it using the execute query endpoint or on-the-fly create the JSON definition for querying and run the adhoc query, both would work. If you check out the template showcase, there are template you can import and play around with to get both to work.
You can have your query defined as:
I do not use CORE, so no idea how that works, so don't have a recommendation for this.
There is endpoint for getting all constituent relationship, however, if there is any info that you need that may be missing, you can use Query API too
Hi Alex,
Lets pretend that I am creating a new report in web view to get the constituents id with their import id, If I execute this query via endpoint, the product is RE, module = None, how do I pass the report name or query name?
when I executed the links you shared I got 404.

Thank you.
if you saved a query, a query has an ID. you provide the ID to the execution's request body as a JSON object.
If you want to know the query ID, go to "Copy Link" "link to query". the link will have the ID you need in it.
make sense now, the link you provided earlier was kind of different from the one you are referring to, the missing id parameter.
Thank you,

Alex,
One more thing, I got 200 response, but only got the headers info, not the result. It usually comes headers and values right it away.
Thx
Query API works differently than regular API endpoint, where issuing the API returns you the data you want right away.
Query API requires you issue API to start the query execution, then periodically check using the "Job ID" that was return on the status of the query execution. Once completed, you will be provided a link to download the query returns as CSV, JSON, or JSONL.
You can check out the template showcase on how to set this all up
Thank you. FYI, I do not use power automate. I use Databricks to pull the data, I am wondering if I can do a test using postman. But, I may required to get some more details about how to execute this q.
you can use other tools, you just need to know the steps involved, which I indicated in my previous post:
