Looking forward: 2016 and beyond!

Published

We are back from an amazing #BBCON!  For those who were unable to attend, we will be presenting a repeat performance of our roadmap session on November 12th, 2015 at 1:00 pm EST.   Register now.

I wanted to share a few of the highlights of the roadmap. Our Blackbaud CRM roadmap themes for 2016 are EfficientIntegrated and Simplified.

Our plan is to release two 3.0 service packs, continue our current cadence for 4.0 service packs in 2016, release 5.0 in November and deliver Mobile Day of Event in three releases.  Mobile Day of Event will be supported on version 4.0 service pack TBD.

The roadmap includes shipping Service Pack 6 at the end of January with:
  • pre-calculated constituencies
  • ability to mark a constituency inactive
  • quickly add group members to a group
  • automated updates to credit cards
  • bug fixes

But we are just getting started!

We will also be focused on:
  • Managing high volume data imports through bulk import, enhancements to duplicate detection and additional merge functionality
  • Enhancements to fundraising opportunities by supporting the ability to link event registrations, matching gifts and planned gifts
  • Mobile Day of Event which includes check-in, accepting credit cards for registrations and donations, and walk up registrations
  • Continued focus on performance and scale

Other areas that we will continue to focus on learning more about from you include:
  • BI and Reporting
  • Mobile Fundraiser on the Go
  • Additional Payments integration functionality
  • Improving the hosted experience

It has been an incredible 2015.  We now have 36 customers on version 4.0 which means 88% of our customers on version 3.0 and 4.0.  We are looking forward to working with you in 2016!

Make sure and join us on November 12th, 2015 at 1:00 pm EST.

Thanks,
Trit Mulligan
