Update On Blackbaud CRM 4.0 Service Pack 17
Published
Blackbaud CRM 4.0 Service Pack 17 was released earlier this month. Since the time of release, we’ve noticed some customizations and configuration changes to the Constituent page are being overwritten after installation of Service Pack 17. This impacts specific customers who have custom tabs on a constituent record and changes made to the data list on out-of- box tabs. Please reference Blackbaud Knowledgebase article 120608 for more information.
We have temporarily stopped distributing Service Pack 17 to hosted customers and have removed the installer from downloads.blackbaud.com.
We have identified a fix and are in the process of releasing a revised Service Pack 17. If you installed Service Pack 17 and have not seen any unintended behavior, we recommend that you leave your systems as-is and ensure that you apply the upcoming revised release of Service Pack 17.
Note: This release was tested using a best-practice and extensive testing process; however, during investigation of this bug, we determined we have a gap in the revision process of our builds. We will be mitigating that gap going forward. We regret any inconvenience that this issue has caused.
