PSA: Teacher Resources, Videos, and Documentation

Published
This week, the technical writers of Blackbaud are all heading to the World HQ in Charleston, South Carolina for our annual meet up. Since today is technically a travel day, I’m going to make it a quick one this week.

I wanted to draw attention over to our online help site where we’re continuing to build out our Teacher Resource page. In case you haven’t heard or haven’t visited the full online help in a while, we’ve taken your feedback and have put together a full page of content specifically for Teachers or other educators. When you head to this page, you’ll find everything from links to relevant documentation, guides, use cases, and more.

Better yet, we’ve also added a Teacher-specific video page to further enhance our offerings. Located under the Teacher Resource Page from the table of contents, the video page features links to videos which would be of the greatest interest to teachers. Check out Report Cards, how to work with Rubrics, adding grades into Gradebook, and more. This is also an area that we’re continually expanding so make sure to bookmark the page as we’ll be adding more videos through the rest of 2019 and well into next year.

Like I said, quick one this week. However, next week is a big one as our big November update is scheduled to go live. As such, I’ll be giving you all a look at what’s coming to the Blackbaud Education Management Software, so make sure to join me then! Until next time!

Hi, Derek.  I just wanted to say thank you for all your work.  I really look forward to your postings and read every one of them.  I seldom if ever post in the community or reply to the many helpful messages each day since there just aren't ever enough hours in the day.  However, I read a digest of all my communities every morning, and there are a lot of threads to keep up with each day.

If others are like me, who read avidly but don't respond frequently, I can imagine that you might think your blog falls on deaf ears, but that's definitely not the case!  Many of us are silently engaged :)

Keep up the great work.
