Did you meet every goal you set? This year, let’s resolve to set goals we can stick with to make a positive impact at our organizations.

How can we set better goals? It starts with careful planning.

This is a great time of year for social good organizations to think about their goals and how they will show impact in 2020. For successful philanthropy that makes a high impact, your organization will need these four things:
  1. Outcome-based goals
  2. Defined focus areas
  3. Organizational collaboration
  4. An emphasis on learning
(Want to learn more about showing impact? Check out the Organizational Best Practices workshop Fundraising - Impact to develop a comprehensive strategy at your organization.)

If you work for an arts and cultural organization, Blackbaud University’s two new 90-minute Organizational Best Practices workshops can help you meet your membership and program goals: Arts and Cultural - Memberships and Arts and Cultural - Programs. In these interactive workshops, network with peers and share ideas for facing and overcoming challenges. Most importantly, develop a solid action plan for programs and memberships—so you can start seeing results immediately.
