Staging Environments Upgraded On 7/10

Hello Everyone, 


It's almost time for the upcoming release of version 5.14 for Altru! We will be upgrading our staging environments first, and we have scheduled this to occur on Wednesday July 10th from 5pm-10pm EST. 


During this time any Staging Environments may be down for a short period of time. The staging sites won't be down during the whole 5 hour block, only a small increment of time within that timeframe. 


As a note, this will not affect your production databases in any way. 


We are looking forward to the new release, and we hope you are as well! Be on the lookout for notifications confirming the date that your Altru Database will be upgraded in the coming weeks!

    Great but what is the staging environment?  Would love to see work on group sales, eliminating duplicates within the system, handling add-on to membership (other than upon signing of the membership).  Just some thoughts......

    Hi Debra! If you have a paid copy of your production database that you use for testing purposes, we call those staging databases. They are just test copies of your Altru database. That is what is being upgraded tonight. There are some new features scheduled for group sales coming in the next release, so stay tuned for information on those in the coming weeks!

    So this will only effect anyone who has a copy of their own database for testing purposes? Is a general Sandbox ever going to come back for us to test just small things here and there?

    Hi Maria, yes you are correct! We no longer have a general sandbox for all customers to use, as we determined the sandbox environment presented security and compliance issues. If you would like to get a database for testing purposes, we recommend to reach out to your account executive if you would like to discuss that further!
