Level Up to "Novice" (Earn that apple badge!)

Whenever anyone joins the Blackbaud Community, they start at a beginner level known as "Rookie". While there's nothing wrong with starting something new, we always encourage our users to jump in with both feet and get the full Blackbaud Community experience. Part of that is adding a photo to your profile. Just by doing that one simple task, you earn enough Community points to level up to "Novice" (icon pictured below). So why not jump in with both feet and start leveling up today!

We had two great ideas come out of the Community open house today! Shout out to Elizabeth Johnson and Laura Purvis for their ideas on improving the Community. The Community is always looking for ways to improve your experience. If there is something missing or a feature you'd like to see, let us know in Community Help. We like to reward those who post innovative ideas for improving Community, so if you have an idea come share it during a Community Open House; we are awarding 500 points. Be on the lookout for our next Community open house coming in March.






Hey, isn't that awesome??

Do you remember the online contest that ended with an English ship being named "Boaty McBoatface"? At the time, it was a bit of a fiasco, but now, years later, Scotland has used the same technique to name their country's 50 plowing trucks that help keep their roads free of snow. Names such as "Sleetwood Mac", "Creedence Clear Road Survival", and "You're a Blizzard, Harry" are just a few of the pun-tastic winners to name the plow trucks. What a fun way to get the public involved and paying attention to your government agency! We'd love to hear if you've ever experienced a public contest like this at your organization.
