Change to log in experience for organization users of Blackbaud NetCommunity® when your organization is hosted by Blackbaud.

Published
With the release of Blackbaud NetCommunity® Patch 12 on January 16, 2024, Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) will be mandatory for Blackbaud NetCommunity (BBNC) Organization Users for all Blackbaud-hosted customers. MFA requires users to successfully validate two or more factors before they can authenticate.

BBNC will require MFA using your password and a unique time-based one-time passcode (TOTP), accessed on a secondary device. We are proactively making this change, by enforcing industry standard security measures, to help safeguard your organization and your data.

Refer to this Knowledgebase article to learn more about configuring MFA for Blackbaud NetCommunity®.

Please note: This change applies to internal BBNC supervisor users who manage your organization’s website only. Standard users, e.g. Donors and Constituents are NOT impacted by this change.
