Reminder: Salesforce And TLS 1.0 Disablement

Published
Hi folks!

This weekend, July 22, 2017, Salesforce will disable the use of the Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.0 encryption protocol in your Production environment. It was changed in your Sandbox environment in June of 2016. You can read more here about what TLS is and how Salesforce's change will impact you.

We want to ensure you that the Luminate CRM product team has taken all precautions for the Salesforce TLS 1.0 disablement. Luminate CRM was upgraded in March 2017 to be compatible with the TLS 1.1 protocol, as required by Salesforce.com. You should not see any impact to your Luminate CRM product and services.

There is no immediate action on your part for Luminate CRM, and many browsers are auto-updated. However, we would encourage you to have your team test to ensure your browsers are compatible.  Here is the test link to test your browser's compatibility. We also encourage you to go through the Readiness Checklist provided by Salesforce here to be sure your entire environment is compatible.

As always, please feel free to reach out to Support if you have any questions.

Corey Eck
Product Manager, Luminate CRM
