As I’ve been talking with customers recently, I’ve had several questions about how The Raiser’s Edge mobile app works with iPads, so I thought it would be helpful to do a quick blog post on this topic.

Is there a separate app for iPads?
Not yet. You can use the iPhone app on your iPad by using the 2x function.

How does the 2x function work?
For information about the 2x function, see iPad: Using applications designed for iPhone and iPod touch. When you use the 2x function, you’ll notice that the app will expand to take up your entire screen, but will not take advantage of the larger screen size on the iPad.



Is a separate iPad app planned?
We are planning on releasing an optimized version of the iPad app in Q2 of this year. This will clean up the slight pixilation that you’ll see on iPad today and better take advantage of the iPad screen size.

If the app can be run on iPad, why can’t I find it in the appstore?
There is a bug in the Apple appstore that won’t let you find the app on iPad by searching, but you can direct link to it:
