What's New In Raiser's Edge NXT The Week Of July 19

Over the past couple of weeks, Raiser's Edge NXT updated with enhancements to constituents and gifts, including the ability to mark anonymous donors, track addressees and salutations, and quickly view key details based on gift type.

 
Mark constituents as anonymous donors. Donors may choose to give anonymously — such as through a private foundation or upon request — for many reasons. If a donor requests to always give to your organization anonymously, you can now select Mark as, Gives anonymously on their record. When you mark a constituent as an anonymous donor, Gives anonymously appears at the top of their record, and Gift is anonymous is automatically selected when you add their gifts in the database view. View a constituent's additional name formats. On a constituent's record, you can track how their name appears in communications — as an addressee in an address block, or as a salutation in a greeting — under Constituent summary. In addition to the constituent's preferred — or primary — addressee and salutation, you can now view up to five other name formats. To view any additional addressees or salutations, select and more. View additional gift overview details. To highlight pertinent details about a gift, you can now view additional information at the top of its record, based on its type:

• Whether (and when) you sent a receipt to the donor
• The current standing of a recurring gift, and when it became such
• How much the donor has left to pay toward a pledge

View payments for a matching gift pledge. Many corporations offer programs that match employees' donations to eligible nonprofits. Under Pledge payments on the record of a corporation's matching gift pledge, you can now view how much (and when) they matched and how much was left to pay (if any) at the time of payment.
