The Countdown To #GivingTuesday Is On! Ready?

After two days fueled by consumerism, Giving Tuesday kicks of the charitable season on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving.  This global day of giving was started by the 92nd Street Y, in partnership with the United Nations, in 2013 and through social media and collaboration, the day has grown more than they likely ever imagined. 

 

In 2016, organizations like yours across 97 diverse countries and territories raised over $177M online, all in an attempt to help good take over the world.  $177M is up 53% from 2015, by the way, so how much more can the global philanthropic community do in 2017?  How much more can your organization do in 2017?  That's where Blackbaud and GivingTuesday.org come into the picture. 


Maybe this is your first year participating or maybe you're a seasoned pro by now.  Regardless, we want this to be your most success #GivingTuesday yet.  There are a number of resources available to you floating around the internet but I've taken the liberty of pulling out some of the most helpful and most pertinent for you.  They range from webinars to tool kits and beyond.

 

• WEBINAR SERIES: Blackbaud's 2017 #GivingTuesday webinar series is sure to get you excited and give you some ideas to turn up your #GivingTuesday!  Blackbaud's 2017 #GivingTuesday Landing page includes a Social Media Toolkit, a copy of the Charitable Giving Report, #GivingTuesday Trend Report, information about using EveryDayHero and more.  This page even includes a full End of Year Fundraising Tool kit to help you plan through the end of December.  Check it out - it’s a great place to start!
• WEBINAR SERIES: Customer Success, in conjunction with Online Express Adoption will be leading a two part webinar series, and all are welcome.  The first session will cover general best practices for #GivingTuesday and everything you need to know to be prepared.  The section session will cover execution.  We hope to see you there!  Sign up here.
