Altru 3.1 New Feature: Constituent Record View

Published
In Charleston, we are all about the view. We love a porch, a dock, a patio - anything that let's us see the big picture. In Altru 3.1, we've improved your view - of the constituent record. We've made it easier to digest and less congested; we've even given you the ability to select which information you would like to see and the order in which it should display. Quite a view:

You can now drag and drop the tabs, so if you're a membership manager, you can make the Memberships tab the first one you see.  Membership data is probably the most relevant part of a constituent record for you, so you can put it front and center.

Also, you can limit the number of tiles you see and set the order of those tiles.  So, if Documentation and Interactions don’t mean much to you, hide that tile and make the Membership Tile the 1st or 2nd tile in your list.

If you aren't interested in seeing the tiles at the top, maybe you want to focus solely on the membership tab, you can select to "Show less," which will hide the tiles.

For more information on these Records changes and how you can take advantage of them, please take a look at the Constituent Updates page.

And just when you thought this was everything, I’m going to let you in on a secret:  We aren't done with the changes yet.  The features and timeline aren't nailed down yet, but we are planing additional changes to records, including:

  • Items from the left navigation bar in the More Information section will be added as tabs to the main record.
  • More tabs will be structured similar to the new Documentation and Interaction tab, displaying in a two-tier structure.
  • Tasks, which display in the left navigation bar, will likely be moved to the top of the constituent record page.

The above changes will clear up the clutter in the left navigation bar and will elevate Shortcuts, Recent searches, and Recently Accessed up to the top of the side-panel.

We hope you enjoy the view!
