Altru 3.14: Mobile Check-in For Special Events

Based on your suggestion from the Altru community, we've added some new functionality around mobile check-in. In the past, you were able to check in patrons for preregistered programs with mobile check-in. We've expanded this to include special events. It works exactly the same way, so it'll be easy to train your staff. This should speed up your lines and improve your constituents' experience.

Why do customers want this?

Customers want to be able to check in registrants for special events from a mobile device.

What are the known issues?

Registrants are sorted by first name.

What changes might existing customers need to make to best utilize this feature?

Both special events and preregistered events appear on the list of events now.

What would only you as a team know about this feature that other should know?

Multi-level events DO show up in the list. There is no indicator about which events are part of a multi-level event and which are not. Constituents registered to multi-level events have 1 registration per event, each of which must be adjusted individually. E.g. cancelling one registration for part of a multi-level event does not cancel all of them. This is how the product itself works, too.
