Altru Masters Workshop: Advanced Query Part 1

You asked for it – you got it! This month begins our Altru Masters Workshop, advanced level training in Altru. And we're starting with query.These Masters sessions are for those who have already completed the Query 101 class and are ready for the next steps. The two sessions will cover different topics and can be taken individually.

Part I will focus on how to find the right fields to use in your query criteria. We’ll also discuss using multiple criteria filters with ANDs, ORs and parentheses and merging queries in order to gather more specific groups of records.

Part II will cover using customizing and using smart fields in your queries. We’ll also talk about using the advanced summarization and grouping tools in ad-hoc queries.  Common smart queries and when to use them rather than an ad-hoc query will be discussed.
