Community Round Up: 2014

Published
Last year was a big year for our community. We celebrated our 2nd birthday. Implemented our 100th idea. Topped off with over 1000 members. In case you missed any of those, here are some highlights from 2014:

We had 333 new members join the community. 1300 new topics were created. Of those new topics, 200 were conversations between Altru users, so there were/are lots of chances to offer your advice! We lost a couple champs (for other job opportunities), but gained quite a few more.

Apply Donations Made in Daily Sales/Webforms to an AppealĀ - Under Consideration

Additional System Roles - We're implementing a few new roles with each release!

Ability to Make Global Changes in Altru - We'll count this one as partially implemented, as you now have some global change functionality.

Customized Email Acknowledgments for Online Purchase Type - We actually implemented this one in 2013. Other ideas just haven't seen enough Me-Too's to knock it out of the Top 5.

Provide Analytics for Emails - This one still isn't on our immediate roadmap.

Fun Things

We had our 1st Secret Santa - where over 30 community members exchanged gifts.

A few members shared their April Fool's Day moments.

Our Introduce Yourself post still remains at the top of the comments list, but we're missing quite a few folks. Be sure to chime in there!

Overall, it's been a great year. We love interacting with you in the community and realize that the value you bring with your opinions and advice is invaluable. Thanks for being a part of the community! Here's a couple things to look forward to in 2015:

New in 2015

We continued our Skype chats throughout 2014, but have decided to move them over to webex, due to technical difficulties. Here are details, if you'd like to join.

We're gearing up for Altru 4.1, due out in early Feb. To get a preview of what's coming, check out our planned ideas section.
