Going Beyond The Sale

When we talk about sales, we often focus on the day-to-day transactions: selling tickets, selling membership, taking donations, and so forth. We want those transactions to go smoothly and provide an excellent customer experience for every person that walks through our doors. 

What about what happens after the sale?

Sometimes plans change and tickets need to be rescheduled. Other times a refund needs to be issued. We want to ensure that, when the need arises, these transactions are able to be handled just as smoothly and swiftly as any other. You can hone your skills in refunding and rescheduling by attending Blackbaud University’s instructor-led course, Altru: Sales Management. Through class discussion and hands-on activities, you will also learn about printing tickets and receipts, managing group check-in and registered program check-in, and daily cash drawer approval. You’ll also receive an introduction to the reporting and analysis available for sales transactions.
