When I bought my first house, a friend of mine told me I should head to Home Depot and get a whole complement of tools because a single woman needs to have power tools. It only took a few months for me to realize that the tools I invested in made my life much easier. I didn’t need to find a handyman or beg friends to lend me what I needed when…well…life happened.
