We have had a Netcommunity website for a few years now, and have had a mostly good experience with setting up forms. Some of it is a bit cumbersome, but if you have some know-how you can make these looks pretty nice. Recently, we have used the part for vendors to upload signed contracts, and had not used that field before. There is what looks like an error in the design - the review upload bar is showing up before the items are uploaded, which makes a confusing experiece for a new visitor to our website. The problem is, this is going to cost us an unknown amount to have fixed by Blackbaud. We had already signed off on the website, but did not see this error because we had not used this part until now. The issue is that they do not know, until I sign a contract for 10 hours of work, what kind of money this will cost. It can cost anywere from just under $200 to just under $2,000 (which is well over the amount that is feasable to spend on this one particular design flaw), but we still have to sign the contract for 10 hours - they will only charge us for 1 or two if it will only take that long, but there is no way of knowing. Have not had that much of an issue with a design fix before either. Any suggestions anyone?
