Blackbaud is Proud to Sponsor the ATLIS AI Summer Workshop

Due to the positive response to our AI session at ATLIS in April—and with Blackbaud’s Intelligence for Good® strategy in mind—Blackbaud is thrilled to support and partner with ATLIS again as a sponsor of their upcoming AI Summer Workshop. This virtual workshop is tailor-made for school AI committees and will include four sessions, with real case studies, thought leaders, and opportunities for you to engage. It seems like just yesterday that over 500 attendees—including 13 Blackbaud representatives—gathered in Reno, Nevada, for the ATLIS (Association of Technology Leaders in Independent Schools) 2024 Annual Conference. There were 2.5 days jam-packed with customer engagement, professional learning, networking, and thought leadership. Blackbaud was pleased to sponsor a content track of eight sessions, the most heavily attended being “Responsible AI: What It Means for Your School,” presented by Blackbaud’s Whitney Donnelly and our K–12 Advisory Board members, Hiram Cuevas and Linda Lawrence.

Due to such positive response and with Blackbaud’s Intelligence for Good® strategy in mind, Blackbaud is thrilled to support and partner with ATLIS again as a sponsor of their upcoming AI Summer Workshop. This virtual workshop is tailor-made for school AI committees and will include four sessions, held weekly on Tuesdays from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. EDT:
  • May 28: Reflections from AI Pilot Programs
  • June 4: Vetting AI Tools
    • Including an introduction from Carrie Cobb, Blackbaud’s Chief Data Officer, who will discuss Blackbaud’s responsible approach to AI
  • June 11: Human-Centered AI for Independent Schools
  • June 18: Managing Change and Planning for the Upcoming Year

According to our friends at ATLIS: “You'll dive into real case studies from schools just like yours, discover AI tools you can actually use with your team, and tackle the big questions around data privacy and ethics. We’ll bring in thought leaders and diverse experts from across the nation, but there will also be an opportunity each week for you to share and engage.”

Blackbaud believes educational institutions can go further, faster, as we harness the rapidly expanding potential of artificial intelligence. We also believe it is critical to prioritize a trustworthy approach to AI. We’re delighted to be able to continue to support ATLIS and all private and independent K–12 schools and hope to (virtually) see you there!
