Financial Edge NXT users and users-to-be, this training is just for you! We’ve customized our curriculum for those of you beginning the Financial Edge NXT journey. Begin with Financial Edge: Fundamentals – Overview, and then focus on these four Financial Edge NXT specific topics.

Each class is three hours long and includes a combination of instructor-led demonstrations, class discussions, and knowledge check quizzes.



Financial Edge NXT: Accounts and Projects

Account and project records in General Ledger™ store information, such as activity, budget, and history. This course covers not only the purpose of account and project records, but also how to set up those records to track vital information. You will learn the basics of creating and maintaining account and project records.



Financial Edge NXT: Journal Entry

The transactions added through journal entry are a key component to financial analysis. This course provides an introduction to journal entry in General Ledger. You will explore the use of journal entries to create debit and credit transactions. After taking this class, you will be able to add, validate, and post journal entries in General Ledger.



Financial Edge NXT: Vendors

Vendor management is a key component of properly recording and paying your liabilities. In this three-hour instructor-led course, you will learn how to enter new vendor records and track vital information, such as addresses, payment details, and Form 1099 defaults. You will learn the basics of creating and maintaining vendor data in Financial Edge NXT in this class.



Financial Edge NXT: Invoices

Part of the overall payables process is entering invoices to be paid. In Payables, there are several ways to add invoice records. The system is flexible to your needs. This course covers the key tasks for accurate and efficient data entry of invoice information. You will learn about the organization of an invoice in class. You’ll also learn how to add, view, and maintain these records in Payables.
