This release of Financial Edge NXT includes several enhancements.

Expense management
  • Copy previous charge - Use this feature to save time submitting charges. When you submit a charge for approval for an existing vendor, the last three charges submitted for that vendor appear. Once you locate the charge to copy, simply select it to automatically populate the description, approval rule, and distribution information from that charge. For more information, see Submit Transaction for Approval.

  • Copy previous invoice request - Use this feature to save time submitting invoice requests. When you submit an invoice request for an existing vendor, the last three invoice requests submitted for that vendor appear. Once you locate the invoice request to copy, simply select it to automatically populate the description, approval rule, and distribution information from that invoice request. For more information, see My Invoice Requests.
Note: If you have Expense management and WebInvoicing, note that Expense management is now widely available! Users can submit all credit card charges and invoice requests for approval, and create invoices. Thank you to the participants of our Early Adopter Program (EAP) and to our initial groups of limited users - we appreciate your feedback!

Credit card notifications
You can now select the types of notifications you want your users to receive, and when to send them. Available notifications include:
  • Credit card charge received final approval
  • Credit card charge rejected
  • Credit card charge needs my approval
To send a notification, mark it "Active" and select the frequency. When you select a frequency, review the description to ensure you select the right one. For more information, see Edit Defaults.

Warning: Credit card notifications are available only if you have accepted the terms of use for Yodlee.

Export bank register to Excel
When you export a Bank register to Excel, the bank account number is now included in the Excel file you export. This is helpful when you want to compare bank register information with bank accounts in Excel. For more information, see Bank Register.
