This week’s release of Financial Edge NXT includes an enhancement to our EFT process.

When paying invoices electronically, you now have the ability to send email remittances. An email remittance is an email notification sent to your vendors with details about the EFT payment.

When you select Email remittance, each vendor with an invoice included in the payment receives the email. You can add and edit vendor email addresses before sending remittances. For more information, see EFT in the help file.

When will EFT for Canadian DB be available in NXT?
Thanks for your feedback, Geoffrey!

Is there additional information you all would find useful in the remittance emails?
Thanks for the update! I'll pass this along to everyone at our Foundation!
This is a welcome addition, Justin!  In trying it out today, I see that the email only includes the invoice #, the payment amount, and the payment date.  However, nearly all of our vendors require us to list our customer number or account number with them, others want a contract #.  In short, although the remittance email is a great automatic notification, I'm still forced to mail them the EFT check stub because it has more information on it, which sort of defeats the purpose of emailing.  Ideally, it would be wonderful to add some more details to the remittance emails or, in a perfect world, attach a PDF of the EFT check stub to the current stripped-down remittance email.  Thanks for all your work to make FE NXT great!
This is awesome! Such a time and money saver for our customers!
