End Of Year Payroll Processing Tips

The end of the year is quickly approaching and we have released the end of year update for The Financial Edge.  You must install the update to ensure compliance with the IRS.  Prepare for next year’s payroll processing:
  1. Add new pay schedule for 2018 
  2. Copy existing pay schedule 
  3. Create any new pay types 
  4. Globally add or expire pay types, deductions and benefits 
  5. Change a deduction, compensation, benefit, or give a raise using the change compensation wizard  
  6. Make historic entry 
  7. The Affordable Care Act and The Financial Edge Configuration
  8. **Add/Update Tax tables 
** Note: Whether the Financial Edge 2018 Tax Tables will be included in the end of year patch this year is directly dependent on when Congress passes the new tax bill. We’ll be posting further communication related to this as we have more information.
