Published 1

What an amazing session! In case you missed it, we covered not only the basics of creating a query, but also the various types of queries you can create and how you can use them. Below are some of the most asked questions from the session, along with the resources that we used to create the content.

When polled, 72% of you guys said you'd like a session on Lists in FE NXT so I'm happy to announce that, that session will be coming in September! To register for it, go here. Below are some of the most asked questions from the session, along with the resources that we used to create the content.

Q: Are queries ever going to be added to NXT web view?
A: Full query functionality is something we are addressing with Lists in Financial Edge NXT web view. We are working to expand and enhance the current functionality you’re used to today, but we do not have a firm date to provide you with at this time.

Q:How do I refresh  the static query format?
A: First, find the query you'd like to refresh, then:
  • Select the Results tab
  • Select Records and then Refresh.
  • Select File and then Save to view the updated results.
  • Click OK
This article will explain in greater detail what you need to know and how to refresh it.

Q: Queries at times give you multiple duplicate lines, how can I prevent that?
A: To suppress duplicate rows you will need to:
  • Select Tools, Query Options from the menu bar of the query
  • On the Record Processing tab, mark the Suppress Duplicate Rows checkbox.
For more in depth information, you can follow these instructions

We hope to see you at future sessions!

Leanne Allen‍ I will be posting the webinar within the week. I'll let you know when it is up!
Thank you so much Jennipher.  I am sorry I haven't been on here in a while so I just saw this.  Wondering if you posted it?  Thanks
I really wish I had attended this Webinar.  I have been looking for a Query webinar.  I was wondering if there is a recording of it by any chance?  It does sound like it was an awesome class to attend!
